On December 4, 2025, a delegation including Yu Yong (Vice President of the China Disaster Prevention Association), Li Jianliang (Deputy Secretary-General), Shen Tao (Deputy Director of the Hangzhou Representative Office), Niu Linghui (Deputy Director of the Marine Disaster Branch), and Meng Qicheng (Deputy Secretary-General of the Marine Disaster Branch) from the China Disaster Prevention Association paid a special research visit to Zhejiang Chimey Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. Yang Yueping, Chairman of Chimey Environment, led the core team to warmly receive the delegation. As a national high-tech enterprise and a "Little Giant" enterprise specializing in specialized and sophisticated fields, Chimey Environment has established a complete management system covering quality, environment, occupational health and safety. Relying on the profound industry-university-research advantages of Zhejiang University, the company has set up the Yangtze River Delta Smart Oasis of Zhejiang University — Zhejiang Chimey Water Safety and Health Joint Research Center in Jiashan, Zhejiang, and built a high-end equipment R&D and industrialization in Zhuji, Zhejiang, forming a dual-drive market pattern of "normal state + emergency response".

Chimey Environment has long been deeply engaged in the field of drinking water safety guarantee, with its core technologies and products covering five major areas: seawater desalination and fresh water supply, emergency drinking water treatment, field water purification, and intelligent IoT-based purification. During the research visit, Chimey Environment on-site displayed a series of lightweight and high-performance emergency water purification equipment, including individual survival water purifiers and forward osmosis emergency water bags. Its advanced technical concepts and reliable product performance have attracted great attention from the delegation.

In the exchange, Chairman Yang Yueping focused on elaborating the company’s development strategy of "combination of peacetime and wartime, and emergency response" as well as the core concept of "healthy drinking water". He detailed the practical experience of the "Zhoushan Putuo District Emergency and Civilian Drinking Water Safety Guarantee Service System Construction" project, in-depth interpreted the innovative application and remarkable effects of the "dual-purpose (normal and emergency) model" in island areas, and expressed a strong willingness to carry out in-depth cooperation with the China Disaster Prevention Association to jointly promote the construction of the emergency drinking water standard system.

Leaders and experts from the China Disaster Prevention Association fully recognized Chimey Environment’s technical strength, product matrix and strategic layout. Vice President Yu Yong conducted in-depth exchanges on key issues such as the company’s core technologies, seawater desalination standards, operation and maintenance of civilian equipment, product costs, and application scenarios of individual water purifiers, highly affirming the broad prospects of the company’s water safety technology in civilian use. He proposed to systematically sort out the emergency drinking water standards and promote them as model cases.

Deputy Secretary-General Li Jianliang pointed out that the state attaches great importance to the construction of a "dual-purpose (normal and emergency) public service system", and Chimey Environment’s water safety technology is safe, practical and in line with the national strategic direction. He suggested incorporating emergency water purification equipment into the emergency support system, sharing the experience of the association in emergency food standard construction, and promoting the joint formulation of emergency drinking water standards to better meet the needs of emergency response.

Deputy Director Shen Tao put forward the development concept of "civilian products for emergency use, emergency technologies for civilian use", and believed that Chimey Environment’s products are highly consistent with this trend. Taking the high cost of fresh water transportation and difficult guarantee in Zhoushan’s island areas as an example, he fully affirmed the economy and practicality of the company’s technical solutions, and suggested strengthening cooperation with the association to expand the application scenarios of emergency water supply.

Deputy Director Niu Linghui went deep into the details such as the performance of the company’s membrane technology and the convenience of equipment maintenance, highly recognized the "combination of peacetime and wartime" ship water supply mode, and actively explored diversified cooperation directions such as marine scientific research and overseas market expansion. Deputy Secretary-General Meng Qicheng focused on the pain points of water use in extreme environments such as scientific research ships and deep-sea exploration, emphasized the strategic value of water treatment technology in extreme environments, and conducted in-depth discussions on the application of water treatment technology in special scenarios such as deep sea and space.
